What size of business do you typically work with?
Most KFMB engagements are with companies between $2M and $75M in annual revenue — established enough to have real strategic weight, small enough that a single decision moves the trajectory. We also advise family offices and high-growth pre-revenue companies on a selective basis.
Are engagements senior-led?
Always. KFMB does not staff engagements with junior consultants on a learning curve. The principal you meet in discovery is the principal who delivers the work.
Do you do strategy or implementation?
Both — deliberately. Strategy without execution is decoration; execution without strategy is busywork. The Tier 3 Executive Advisory engagement is built specifically to bridge the two with 90 days of implementation oversight.
How quickly can we begin?
Tier 1 Strategy Sessions can be scheduled within five business days. Tier 2 and 3 engagements typically begin within two to three weeks of a signed engagement letter, depending on current capacity.
What if we just want a proposal?
Apply for an engagement. The 45-minute discovery call is at no charge, and you will leave with a scoped proposal — a document, not a sales pitch. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
